This is the personal writing blog of one Jackie Wright (she/her) started back in January of 2020. It was initially created to document Jackie’s quest to share her writing on daily basis for at least 1000 days in a row. (We made it to 1233 days in a row on June 3, 2023!)
These days the blog is only updated when a brilliant (or at least a semi-decent) idea strikes – but it gets updated and maintained nonetheless.
The writing mainly focuses on mental illness, death, relationship and queerness, and all the themes are wrapped up in a delicious coat of darkness and sprinkled with just the right amount of horror. The deeply personal, evocative, and reflective writing style emphasizes the complexities of human experience.
